The seminar on biomaterials and stem cell bone tissue engineering was successfully heldIssuing time:2023-08-31 17:35 Recently, the International Symposium on Recent Trend of Biometerials and Stem Cells for Bone Tissue Engineering (BTE2015) was successfully held in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Chen Xuesi, a researcher in the Key Laboratory of Ecological and Environmental Polymer Materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Zhu Qingsan, director of the orthopaedics department of China Japan Friendship Hospital of Jilin University, and Professor Yoshihiro Ito, the chairman of the seminar, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the seminar. Researcher Zhang Peibiao, the leader of the Research Group on Regenerative Medical Materials at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, presided over this seminar. This seminar is sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Ecological Environmental Polymer Materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and co organized by the Orthopaedics Department of the Sino Japanese Friendship Hospital of Jilin University. It aims to provide a new platform for academic and technical exchanges between scholars and clinical orthopaedics doctors in the field of orthopaedic biomaterials at home and abroad, and promote academic exchanges between colleagues at home and abroad. The conference arranged 2 conference presentations (Professor Cui Fuzhai from Tsinghua University and Professor Yoshihiro Ito from the Japan Institute of Physical and Chemical Research), 5 invitation presentations, 4 oral presentations, and 12 wall poster presentations. The participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around the latest development trend of bone tissue engineering, the design and synthesis of binding growth factors, the design, preparation and functionalization of tissue engineering bionic scaffolds, nano biomaterials and stem cell therapy, bioceramics, cell microcarriers, biological applications of bone cement composite mineralized collagen and enzymatic polymerization gel, and reported the latest academic ideas and research achievements, We jointly discussed the development trends, research hotspots, application difficulties, and related scientific issues in related fields. This meeting received funding and support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the International Cooperation Special Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the major scientific and technological research project of the "Double Ten Project" in Jilin Province.
